utilization and storage(CCUS) is considered to be the core technology to achieve the goal of carbon neutralization in the future. This paper performs a quantitative analysis on patents about CCUS technology in Derwent patent database by using CiteSpace software. Through the construction of knowledge graph
it explores the temporal and spatial distribution of patent documents
the overall hot technologies and cutting-edge technologies
the development of CCUS technology in various fields
as well as the hot technologies and innovative technologies in their respective fields. The results show that
the United States and China are major countries in the research of CCUS technology
and most of the patentees in China are university institutions. Waste gas treatment technology and CO_2 oil displacement technology are the research hotspots of CCUS technology patents. In carbon capture technology
the hot spot technology is the desorption tower technology
and the CO_2 capture technology after using calcium-containing compounds to convert CO_2 into inorganic salts is a new field. In carbon utilization technology
the generation of carbon fiber from CO_2 has become a hot technology
and mixed utilization technology is an innovative research direction. In carbon storage technology
the technology patents of tanks and release devices are hot technologies. Packaging technology in different environments and device inventions in the process of transportation are new research directions.
